History Alma Inn

The Alma Inn Public House is one of Scarborough’s original real ale inns. Originally just a single room, a small rear snug was added, at that time owned by Camerons Brewery.

So it remained until approx 1984, when the encumbent landlord, Mr Eddie Whipp, removed part of a wall and converted the next door building making the three roomed pub that you see today.
